We gotta make sure our humans find some time to get out of the house and socialize with each other so we plan LOTS of events! It is a great way to stay in touch with friends and make new ones. If you are thinking about adopting, please stop by one of the meetups and you are sure to meet some of our adoptive families who can tell you anything you need to know!
Events
You are welcome to come to the meetups, even if you don't have a dachshund. These are meetings at public dog parks, and all little (small breed) dogs are welcome to play as "Honorary Doxies"! Also, for anyone interested in finding out how to "test drive" a dachshund, we have information on how to be a foster parent to wiener dogs that were rescued from the shelter.
*** This is a group for play dates so that the little ones can run around and play off leash in a fenced in dog park or indoor play area. THIS GROUP IS NOT FOR BREEDING AND/OR SALE OF DOGS. Members who use this group for breeding or sale of dachshunds will be removed.***
Winterfest Was A Success!!!!!

Thanks to you kind donations for merchandise and donations of medication, DRSF is now in a better position than ever before to make sure that every hot dog in South Florida gets the care, love, and medical attenion that they need!
