Mr. Coco is blind and deaf with heart problems, but does not let that stop him from enjoying every last minute with his forever foster family in Miami.  He is familiar with his surroundings and uses his sense of smell (which can find a treat at 50 feet out!) to get around!

Charles found himself at the Miami Shelter at the tender age of 8 after being surrendered by his family.  After a near death bout with pneumonia, he has found his forever home with a wonderful lady in Ft. Lauderdale who comes home every day for lunch to love on him!

"Since Athena has allowed us to live with her as you know she has gained two and a half pounds, her hair is growing in nicely and she no longer stresses when we head to the car.  She is getting along wonderfully with Missy and Rocky and seems to enjoy her human family as well. Athena enjoys sleeping in (usually until noonish), then spends most of her day sunbathing.  It amazes me how fast she is with that jackrabbit Charlie Chaplin sprint of hers.  The vet wanted to get a video of her, truly an amazing senior!  I wanted to thank you all again for blessing us with such and amazing girl.  She is a glowing example of what life is really supposed to be about."
Athena is an 11 year old, beautiful little girl who was found neglected and abandoned in a crate outside a PetSmart in Miami.  A series amazing occurrences and caring people brought her to our care where she was adopted by a wonderful family who shared the following update with us....
